Windows Server is fine for hosting. It is not what most RDP buyers want to sit in front of every day.
Consumer software, browser extensions, Microsoft Store apps and Android emulators are built and tested for Windows 10. On Windows Server many of them refuse to install or need workarounds.
Websites and ad platforms can read the operating system from your browser. A Windows 10 user agent looks like a normal person on a normal PC. Windows Server 2019 does not.

It stays switched on 24 hours a day with its own fixed IP address, so anything you leave running keeps running after you close your laptop. Almost every provider that sells "Windows RDP" is selling Windows Server 2019 or 2022. Both share the same kernel and the same Remote Desktop Protocol, so a screenshot of the two looks similar. The differences show up in daily use. Windows Server ships with Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration, no Microsoft Store, a Server Manager window on every login, and a user agent string that tells every website it is a server. Some consumer applications, most Android emulators, and several ad platforms treat that differently from a normal PC.
Windows 10 Pro removes all of that. The trade-off is that a desktop edition is limited to one interactive session at a time, so if you need several people signed in at once, Windows Server with Remote Desktop Services licensing is the correct product. For one person, one desktop, Windows 10 is the better experience and the same price at VPSLake.
Windows 10 idles at roughly 1.2 GB of memory. The 2 GB plan handles a browser with a handful of tabs, a trading terminal, or a light automation script. Move to 4 GB when you run an anti-detect browser such as AdsPower or Dolphin Anty with several profiles, or keep twenty or more Chrome tabs open. Android emulators want 4 GB as a minimum and are happier on 8 GB. If you are unsure, start small: upgrading a plan keeps your data and takes a reboot.
