What makes an RDP cheap, and what it costs you

The word RDP covers two different things. One is a user login on a Windows Server that the seller has split between as many customers as it will hold. The other is a virtual machine of your own. The first can be sold for very little because the seller pays for one machine, one licence and one IP and resells it many times. It works until you need to install something, until the machine slows down under someone else's bot, or until the shared IP is banned on a platform you depend on. At that point the cheap RDP has cost you a month and an account.
