Is It Down? Service Status

See whether UPI, your bank, IRCTC, your mobile network or a social app is having trouble right now. Our server tests each service every five minutes, and visitors can flag problems that a website check cannot see.

Latest result for each service

Want to test a site that is not listed? The Website Down Checker runs a live check of any public website, with timings and firewall detection.

Find out in three steps

Nothing to type and nothing to install. The board above refreshes every time you load the page.

  1. 1

    Find the service

Each card shows the latest result, the response time and, when there are any, how many visitors reported a problem in the past hour.

  2. 2

    Open its status page

Select the service name to see the full picture: the last check in plain words, 24 hours of results hour by hour, recent problem reports and links to the official help desk.

  3. 3

    Add your own report

If the service is failing for you, press Report a problem on its page. A sudden cluster of reports is often the first sign of an outage that a website check cannot see, such as failed payments or a dropped mobile network.

How the checks work

Every five minutes a scheduled job on a VPSLake server sends one ordinary web request to each service, all at the same time. It records whether an answer came back, the HTTP status code and how long the answer took, then keeps seven days of results.

The job requests one fixed public page per service. It never logs in, makes a payment, or opens the mobile app, so it tells you whether the public front door is open, not whether every feature behind it works.

What each status means

  • Online: the page answered with a normal 2xx or 3xx code.
  • Online, blocks bots: the server answered but refused our automated request with a 4xx code. It is running; its bot filter just turns monitors away.
  • Server errors: the server answered with a 5xx code, so something behind it is failing.
  • No response: no HTTP answer at all, for example a timeout, a DNS failure or a refused connection.

Why visitor reports matter

UPI transfers, mobile data and in-game servers run on private systems that no outside monitor can reach. For those, real people noticing a problem at the same time is the best signal available, which is why every service page has a report button.

The counts are real button presses on this site and nothing else. Each visitor can add one report per service per hour.

Checking a site that is not on the list

This board follows a fixed set of busy services. For any other website, including your own, use the Website Down Checker. It runs a live request on demand and breaks the load time into DNS, connection, TLS and server response, and it tells you when a firewall rather than an outage is blocking the request.

An independent check, not an official status page

VPSLake is not connected to any of these companies or government departments. All checks run from one server outside India, so a regional or network-specific outage may not show here, and some sites answer foreign monitors differently from local visitors. For an official announcement, use the help links on each service page.

Service Status FAQ

Every five minutes, around the clock. The time of the most recent run is shown at the top of the board, and each service page lists its last twelve results with exact times in Indian Standard Time.
Our check only proves that the public website answered. Logins, payments, the mobile app or your own network can still be failing. Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, update the app, and press Report a problem on the service page so other visitors can see they are not alone.
The site answered our request with a 4xx code such as 403 Forbidden. That is how some bot filters treat automated visitors, especially from outside India. A refusal still proves the server is switched on and answering. A timeout or a 5xx error would be a real problem.
No. A report stores the service, the time and a salted, one-way hash used only to stop the same visitor counting twice in an hour. The hash is cleared after an hour, and every report is deleted after seven days.
The list is kept short on purpose so every check stays light for the sites involved. For any other site, the Website Down Checker runs a live test whenever you need one.
No. It is an independent monitor run by VPSLake. Each service page links to that service's own help or status channel for official notices.
